    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Mold-Related Services Licensing Unit, has received the petition for declaratory statement from Doug Linder on November 18, 2014.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of chapter 468, part XVI, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner asks whether, under chapter 468, part XVI, Florida Statutes, a mold assessor or mold remediator license is required in order for his business to sanitize residential and commercial environments with a specific antimicrobial product in order to kill microorganisms and inhibit their growth.
