PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the rule development is to solicit public input to be used in developing rules to comply with Section 393.0661(3), F.S., requiring the Agency to implement a four-tiered waiver system to serve clients with developmental disabilities.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Section 393.0661(3), F.S., requires that the agency shall assign all clients receiving waiver services through a developmental disabilities waiver to a tier based on a valid assessment instrument, client characteristics, and other appropriate assessment methods. These rules will implement that requirement.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Home and Community Based Tier Waivers.
