64B17-3.001Licensure as a Physical Therapist by Examination

The Board of Physical Therapy hereby gives notice:

Of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance, filed on July 11, 2013, by Emanuel Stabile. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 39, No. 36, of the July 13, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 61J1-3.001, F.A.C., which requires that an applicant with or licensure as a Physical Therapist by Examination.

The Board’s Order, filed on August 29, 2013, authorizes Mr. Nicholas M. Hansen to appear as Qualified Representative for Petitioner, Emanuel Stabile. The Board denied the petition for Variance or Waiver of Rule 64B17-3.001, F.A.C. After discussion and consideration, Mr. Hanson waived the ninety (90) day deadline for the Board to act on Mr. Stabile’s Application for Licensure by Examination. Mr. Stabile’s application will be placed on hold to allow him to provide an updated or revised evaluation of his education credentials.
