GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Board of Dentistry will be holding a closed attorney-client session for case #2003-CA-696 (Francis J. Ducoin, DMA, et al. v. Florida Department of Health, et al.) to discuss pending litigation and strategy related to litigation expenditures. The following participants are expected to attend: The Board of Dentistry members – Dr. Betty Klement, Dr. Joseph Thomas, Dr. Carl Melzer, Dr. Thad Morgan, Dr. Wade Winker, Dr. Daniel Gesek, Dr. Robert Perdomo, Ms. Brenda Kitchens, Ms. Elmira Gainey, Ms. Lourdes Fisher, Mr. Tom Embree. Also, the following are expected to attend: Sue Foster, Executive Officer of the Board, Ed Tellechea, Counsel for the Board of Dentistry, Karusha Sharpe, Contract Attorney, Josefina Tamayo, General Counsel for the Department of Health, Renee Alsobrook, Deputy General Counsel for the Department of Health, Department’s representative. This session will be transcribed in accordance with the provisions of Section 286.011(8), F.S.
