The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

PLACE: Carr Building, Conference Room 170, 3900 Commonwealth Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32399. This hearing will also be broadcast via webinar. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Beach Management Funding Assistance Program, proposes amendments to Chapter 62B-36, F.A.C., as a result of changes made to the beaches funding program in 2019, as codified in Chapter 2019-122, Laws of Florida. Those changes revise the criteria that the Department must consider in determining and assigning annual funding priorities for beach management and erosion control projects and revising certain statutory provisions that the Department must consider with respect to managing inlets. Notice of Development of Rulemaking was published in the FAR on October 14, 2019.
