The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice: that on November 21, 2018, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed by Duane Marolyn Karr, on August 14, 2018, seeking a waiver or variance of Rule 64B7-32.003, F.A.C., regarding his claim of deficient massage therapy training hours. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Volume 44, No. 162, of the August 20, 2018 issue of the Florida Administrative Register. No comments were received on the Petition. The Board, at its meeting held on November 1, 2018, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that the Petitioner’s Petition did meet the criteria either in format or substance pursuant to Section 120.542, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 28-104, F.A.C.
