    61G20-2.005Alternative Plans Review and Inspection forms Adopted

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Subsection 553.791(4), Florida Statutes, requires an individual utilizing a private provider to provide building code inspection services to notify the local building official on a form adopted by the Florida Building Commission. This form, Form # 61G20-2.005-2002-01, is incorporated by reference in rule 61G20-2.005, F.A.C., and includes an outdated reference to the amount and type of insurance required to be carried by a private provider by subsection 553.791(17), Florida Statutes. The Commission intends to update Form # 61G20-2.005-2002-01 and make it consistent with the current provisions of subsection 553.791(17), Florida Statutes.
