  • NOTIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

    The Withlacoochee Regional Water Supply Authority (WRWSA), which serves the area of Hernando, Citrus and Sumter counties and the City of Ocala is seeking the services of qualified hydrogeologic/engineering consultants to accomplish one or both of the next two phases of the Withlacoochee Master Regional Water Supply Planning and Implementation Program which will: (PHASE II) require detailed feasibility analyses of potential water resource options identified in the updated Master Regional Water Supply Plan for the region; and (PHASE VII) utilize Southwest Florida Water Management District’s (SWFWMD) “Northern District Model,” or other appropriate tool to determine to what degree and where existing groundwater sources may be limited once Minimum Flows and Levels (MFLs) are established and to assist local communities in optimizing existing wellfield expansions, locating future wellfields, and reducing water demand through comprehensive conservation strategies and reclaimed water projects.
