    40E-6.011: Policy and Purpose

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on November 15, 2007, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for Wavier from Collier County Board of County Commissioners, for utilization of Works of Lands of the District known as the CR-951 Canal, Section 11, Township 49 South, Range 26 East, Collier County, for the proposed placement of light poles, conduits and guardrails. The petition seeks relief from subsection(s) 40E-6.011(4), (6), and Rule 40E-6.221, Florida Administrative Code, which governs placement of above-ground permanent and semi-permanent structures (the placement of light poles, conduits and guardrails) within 40 feet of top of the canal bank within the Works or Lands of the District.
