    Construction Industry Licensing Board

The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice: that on October 23, 2019, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition was filed by Michael Acosta, on August 6, 2019, and it did not identify a rule. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Vol. 45, No. 176, on September 10, 2019, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its meeting held on September 13, 2019, voted to deny the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that Petitioner failed to demonstrate a substantial hardship; failed to demonstrate that application of Rule 61G4-16.005, F.A.C., would violate principles of fairness; and failed to demonstrate that the purpose of the underlying statute would be met.
