PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to establish regulations pertaining to a telephone and internet-based harvest reporting system for wild turkey and clarify language regarding handling and transportation of harvested turkey and deer. The effect of the proposed rule changes will be to enable the agency to better manage turkey and deer populations throughout the state.
