62-304.705: St. Lucie Basin TMDLs
The Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 7:00 p.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To receive public comments on draft total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) for the St. Lucie Estuary, to be adopted in Rule 62-304.705, F.A.C. The TMDLs to be presented at the public workshop are for the St. Lucie River Lower Estuary, the North Fork St. Lucie River, the North St. Lucie Estuary, the C-24 canal, the C-23 canal, the South St. Lucie Estuary, the South Fork St. Lucie River, Bessey Creek, and the C-44 Canal. The draft TMDL document(s) for the St. Lucie Estuary will be placed on the Department’s TMDL website (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/tmdl) by November 5, 2008. The Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDLs through December 5, 2008.
