Notice is hereby given that the Board of Medicine has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed on behalf of HMCS, on October 30, 2013. The Petitioner seeks the Board’s interpretation of Section 456.053, F.S., and seeks the Board’s determination which would permit the Petitioner (a compounding pharmacy that provides compounded medication to Florida physicians) to offer an ownership interest of up to 40%, to physicians in Florida, under the criteria set forth in the Petition. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for December 6, 2013. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
