REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority 9GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the Replace AHU-B and Rental Car Fan Coil Unit Project. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing multi-zone air handling unit B (AHU-B) and single zone fan coil unit and associated modifications to existing ductwork, piping and building controls to accommodate new equipment.
Complete sets of bid documents will be available for review or purchase beginning at nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. on November 11, 2013 at the following facilities:

A payment in the amount of reproduction cost, made payable to ARC Global Document Management, will be required to purchase each set of the bid documents.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at ten o’clock (10:00) a.m. on November 20, 2013 at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal, 3880 NE 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida, 32609. A site visit of the project areas will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid conference.
Bids must be signed by an authorized official, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: “Replace AHU-B and Rental Car Fan Coil Unit” and mailed or delivered to the Authority’s Administrative Office, Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, 3880 NE 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida 32609.
Bids are due at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 and will be publicly opened at this time. The official clock is located in the Authority’s Administrative Office. Bids received after this time will not be considered. GACRAA reserves the right to reject any and all bids received in response to this Request for Bids as determined to be in the best interest of the Airport.
