NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Massage Therapy has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Foot Rest, Inc./Keith Nassetta on August 13, 2014. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 40, No. 160, of the August 18, 2014, Florida Administrative Register. The petition seeks interpretation of 480.047, 480.041 and/or 480.034, Florida Statutes, as to whether a massage therapy license is required to perform foot rubs. The Board’s Order, filed on November 4, 2014, finds that the petition filed in this cause is not in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.565, Florida Statutes, and Rule 28-105, Florida Administrative Code. Therefore, the petition is dismissed.
