65C-13.023: Background Screening Requirements

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 15, 2012, the Department of Children and Families, received a petition for waiver of subsection 65C-13.023(1), Florida Administrative Code, from Children's Network of Southwest Florida, LLC and Llonka Washburn. Subsection 65C-13.023(1), F.A.C., require the Department to conduct background screenings for all persons considered by the Department for initial licensure or relicensure as an out-of-home caregiver and all adult household member and the screenings shall be completed before an applicant shall be licensed as an out-of-home caregiver and before any children are placed in the home.
