NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 16, 2005, the Board of Medicine has issued an order.
The Petition for Waiver and/or Variance was filed by Abiodun A. Odeleye, M.D., on March 2, 2005, seeking a waiver or variance from Rule 64B8-5.001, F.A.C., with regard to the time frames imposed for passage of the USMLE. The Notice was published in Volume 31, No.11, of the Florida Administrative Weekly, on March 18, 2005. The Credentials Committee, at its meeting held on May 21, 2005, recommended that Petitioner’s request for waiver or variance be granted. The Board, at its meeting held on June 4, 2005, accepted the Committee’s recommendation and voted to grant the Petition for Waiver finding that the Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship and met the purpose of the underlying statute.
