NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 16, 2006, the the Board of Podiatric Medicine has issued an order.
The Boards Order, filed on October 16, 2006, grants the Petition for Variance or Waiver, finding that Petitioner has met the requirements of Section 120.542(2) of the Florida Statutes. Specifically, Petitioner has demonstrated that denial of the waiver would cause a substantial hardship unique to him since the Petitioner is the only applicant who passed the August, 1993 Florida licensing examination and received correspondence from the Division of Medical Quality Assurance instructing him that he could pay the initial fee and active his license at a later date. Based upon the foregoing, the Board determined that Petitioner is eligible for a waiver or variance of Section 64B18-11.001 and 64B18-11.002, F.A.C.
