    The Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The annual meeting of the Orange Creek Basin Working Group will be held on November 16 in Gainesville at Gainesville Regional Utilities Administration Office. This meeting is open to the public. The meeting will present a review of the status of water quality in local impaired waterbodies as well as a strategy for allocating responsibilities for nutrient loading reductions. A presentation will be given on the cultural resources of the Orange Creek Basin. The second phase Orange Creek Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP) was adopted in July 2014. The BMAP addresses bacterial problems in streams and nutrient water quality problems in lakes in the Orange Creek Basin.
