    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Pursuant to subsection 629.9892(2), F.S., the Department is authorized to pay rewards of up to $25,000 to persons providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons committing certain enumerated crimes that are investigated by the Department. Chapter 2016-132, Laws of Florida, amended subsection 626.9892(2), F.S., to add additional crimes including violations of Sections 790.164, 790.165, 790.166, 806.031, 806.10, 806.111, and 817.233, F.S.
