DepartmentalNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 1, 2006, the Department of Environmental Protection, Solid Waste Section, received a petition for a variance from Frank A. Darabi, P.E., on behalf of the Dixie County Transfer Station, from paragraph 62-701.710(3)(b), Florida Administrative Code, which requires that transfer stations be designed with a leachate control system, and from subparagraph 62-701.710(4)(c)2., F.A.C., which requires that transfer stations employ trained spotters.
