NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 26, 2014, the Office of Financial Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Summer Bay Sales and Marketing, L.C. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 520, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed sales of its travel services membership program on a retail installment basis is exempt from the licensure requirements for “retail sellers” engaging in “retail installment transactions” provided in Section 520.32 of the Act.
