40E-6.011Policy and Purpose

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 29, 2016, the South Florida Water Management District (District) received a petition for waiver from Florida Home Construction of Central Florida (Application No. 14-0424-1) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the C-33 Canal for the installation of a boat travel lift within the C-33 west right of way located approximately 0.5 miles northeast of Hickory Tree Road, Section 32, Township 26 South, Range 31 East, Osceola County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), Fla. Admin. Code, which prohibit the placement of permanent & semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
