Board of MedicineNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on December 6, 2012, the Board of Medicine issued a Final Order on the petition for declaratory statement filed by Michael Dominic Mozzetti, M.D. The Notice of the Petition was published in Volume 38, No. 36, of the September 7, 2012, issue of the Florida Administrative Weekly. The Board reviewed the Petition at its meeting held on October 12, 2012. The Board’s Final Order finds that under the facts outlined in the Petition, the Petitioner’s continuing medical education (CME) courses in pain management meet the definitions and requirements of the AMA’s Physician’s Recognition Award and continuing medical education credit system, and they meet the “live lecture format” requirement set forth in Rule 64B8-9.0131(7), F.A.C.
