Physician Supplemental Payments
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (the Agency), Bureau of Medicaid Program Finance, provides the following public notice regarding a State Plan Amendment (SPA) for Physician Supplemental Payments.
Florida medical schools are developing a proposed revised supplemental payment methodology using a percent of Medicare reimbursement. The percent to be used will be negotiated with CMS. The updated methodology would become effective in a State Plan Amendment January 1, 2014, and will be applicable to fee-for-service claims.
