64B16-28.450Centralized Prescription Filling, Delivering and Returning

NOTICE OF CHANGE

Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 39 No. 186, September 24, 2013 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

The change is in response to written comments submitted by the staff of the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee. The changes are as follows:

1. Subsection (1) shall now read:

(1) As used herein:

(a) The term “originating pharmacy” means a pharmacy wherein the prescription which will be filled by the central fill pharmacy is initially presented; and

(b) The term “central fill pharmacy” means a pharmacy which performs centralized prescription filling, delivering, and returning for one or more originating pharmacies.

 

2. In subsection (3)(b), the word "subsections" shall be changed to now read “paragraphs”.
