    40E-6.011: Policy and Purpose

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on November 27, 2007, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from the Collier County Transportation Engineering and Construction Management, Application Number 07-0910-1, for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the Cocohatchee Canal for proposed installation of a multi-use 12 foot wide asphalt pathway; Section(s) 23-24, Township 48 South, Range 26 East, Collier County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), Florida Administrative Code, which governs the placement of permanent and semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of the canal bank within the Works or Lands of the District.
