INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT until 2:00 PM (EST), local time, TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2015, at which time they shall be opened in the Public Meeting Room of the Port Central Office Building, 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida, for APM BUILDING DEMOLITION.

All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1436B, which may be examined in the Procurement Department of JAXPORT, located on the second floor of the Port Central Office Building, 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2014, AT 1:30 PM (EST), AT THE BLOUNT ISLAND MARINE TERMINAL, ACCESS CONTROL BUILDING, 2ND FLOOR, 9620 DAVE RAWLS BLVD., JACKSONVILLE, FL 32226.

SITE VISIT WILL REQUIRE BIDDERS TO SHOW VALID I.D. TO OBTAIN ACCESS TO ENTER TERMINAL. A JAXPORT SHUTTLE WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE MEETING; YOU MUST CALL [phone] IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND. *BRING SAFETY VEST AND HARD HAT*

ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS REQUIRED. A BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY BIDDER WHO IS NOT REPRESENTED AT SUCH CONFERENCE.

THIS CONTRACT HAS A MANDATORY 100% SEB PARTICIPATION GOAL.

Bid and contract bonding are required.

This project is funded by JAXPORT and Grants from a State of Florida grant program.
