The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety hereby gives notice:

On December 9, 2015, the Department received a request withdrawing the Petition for variance from the City of Bushnell, filed September 29, 2015, and advertised on October 2, 2015 in Vol. 41 No. 192 of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petition for variance requested a variance from an unspecified rule of ASME A17.3, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), F.A.C., that requires upgrading the elevators. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety is taking no further action on the petition (VW2015-242).
