FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
CITY OF MIRAMAR
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Miramar’s project to upgrade the East Water Treatment Plant on SW 66th Terrace including the construction of two new nanofiltration assemblies and five new Biscayne supply wells is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $22,600,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
