    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 15, 2014, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for St. Lucie Nuclear Station (Ecospace). Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1b, Section 2.20.4, 2.18.5.1 and 8.11.2.1.3(cc)(1) & (3) as adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires steel ropes of a minimum diameter of 9.5 mm which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
