The FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION announces a hearing in the following docket to which all persons are invited.

DOCKET NO. AND TITLE:  DOCKET NO. 20180047-EI - Consideration of the tax impacts associated with Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 for Duke Energy Florida, LLC.

HEARING DATE AND TIME:  Tuesday, January 8, 2019, immediately following the Commission’s Internal Affairs Meeting.

PLACE:  Room 148, Betty Easley Conference Center, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING:

The purpose of this hearing shall be to receive testimony and exhibits and to take final action regarding the tax impacts on Duke Energy Florida, LLC resulting from the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, and to take action on any motions or other matters that may be pending at the time of the hearing.  The Commission may rule on any such motions from the bench or may take the matters under advisement.  This proceeding shall: (1) allow the parties to present evidence and testimony in support of their positions; and (2) allow for such other purposes as the Commission may deem appropriate.
