The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety hereby gives notice: on November 26, 2013, the Department received an email withdrawing the Petition for variance from Palm City Orthodontics/Dentist, filed September 9, 2013, and advertised on September 16, 2013, in Vol. 39, No. 18, of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petition for variance requested a variance from Rule 2.2.2.5, unspecified edition of ASME, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires upgrading the elevators. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety is taking no further action on the petition (VW2013-302).
