Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District
NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT AND THE SETTING OF FEES BY BABCOCK RANCH COMMUNITY INDEPENDENT SPECIAL DISTRICT
In accordance with Chapter 2007-306, Laws of Florida, as amended, the Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District (“District”) hereby gives notice of its intention to develop a rule setting fees and charges related to the District’s solid waste services and amendments to the Babcock Ranch Waste Management Policies Manual. The purpose and effect of the proposed rules is to provide for efficient and effective District operations, and to provide sufficient revenues to meet expenses and provide services within boundaries of the District. A public hearing will be conducted by the District on January 24, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at 14750 State Road 31, Punta Gorda, Florida 33982. Specific legal authority for the rule includes Chapter 2007-306, Laws of Florida, as amended, and 120.054, Florida Statutes.
