The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Deltona’s projects that include a surface water intake/pump station on Lake Monroe, a 24-inch transmission main, covered storage for raw surface water and stormwater, treatment consisting of coagulation, flocculation, filtration, and disinfection, as well as finished water storage, are not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $13,000,000. This project may qualify for Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loans comprised of federal or state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed projects that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
