    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Open House: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Discover Life Church, 3550 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne, Florida 32934

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host an open house for individuals to learn more about a new traffic signal design at Eau Gallie Boulevard (State Road 518) and Turtle Mound Road in Melbourne. This safety project also includes the extension of the right and left turn lanes onto Turtle Mound Road, along with the addition of high visibility crosswalk markings, pedestrian signals and lighting. Additional right of way will be needed for this project.

    Attendees may come anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to review project displays and to hold one-on-one conversations with the FDOT project team. There will be no project presentation. The information shared at the open house will be available for review online at www.cflroads.com (search by 445183-1).
