    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received a petition for declaratory statement from Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Section 110.8.6, Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014), Building as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether building departments can use the above-referenced section to require a special inspector's duly authorized representative to be licensed under Chapter 468 in excess of Section 553.79(5), F.S.
