GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The St. Johns River Water Management District (District) will hold a virtual meeting on January 16th as part of the peer review process for the surface water model developed to support establishing protective minimum levels for Lake Prevatt in Orange County, Florida. The purpose of establishing minimum levels is to protect this lake from significant harm due to groundwater or surface water withdrawals. In September 2023 the District completed development of a Hydrological Simulation Program - Fortran (HSPF) model for Lake Prevatt. A kick-off meeting for the peer review of this HSPF model was held on December 11, 2023. During the upcoming January 16th meeting the model peer reviewer will present initial findings for the Lake Prevatt HSPF model review. One or more members of the District’s Governing Board may attend this meeting.
