Notice of Proposed Ordinance
In accordance with Section 337.401(3)(d), FS, notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Pinellas Park, Florida, will hold a public hearing for the first reading on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, in said City, for the purpose of adopting a proposed ordinance governing a telecommunications company placing or maintaining telecommunications facilities in its roads or rights-of-way.

PLACE: City Council Chambers, City Hall, 5141 78th Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL 33781
SUBJECT: The proposed ordinance creates minimum objective standards for at-grade facilities, below-grade facilities, wireline facilities, utility poles, and small wireless facilities within public rights-of-way and to expressly address current industry practices with respect to the installation of wireless communication facilities, and adopt other rules related thereto in the City’s Land Development Code. A copy of the proposed ordinance can be obtained by calling the City Clerk’s Office at 727-369-0619, or by visiting the Clerk’s Office during regular business hours at City Hall, 5141 78th Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 . The ordinance is set to take effect upon adoption but apply to all applications filed on or after July 27, 2017, the date when the City formally announced in duly noticed public hearing that it would develop such regulations.
