NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Estera Trust (Guernsey) Limited. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 658, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

On 12/2/2019, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (Consumer Finance) received a Petition for Declaratory Statement from Estera Trust (Guernsey) Limited. The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office whether its proposed activities (to assist clients in securing FAA approval to register aircraft owned by a “non-citizen trust” in accordance with FAA regulations" requires a Florida trust company charter pursuant to Chapter 658, Florida Statutes.
