    The Florida Department of Transportation District Six announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

    PLACE: William F. Dickinson Community Center, 1601 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six will hold a Public Meeting for an upcoming truck bypass construction project in the cities of Homestead and Florida City to redirect truck traffic off of Krome Avenue in this area. The project limits extend from west of SR 997/Krome Avenue to east of SR 5/US 1 along Campbell Drive, Davis Parkway and Palm Drive. The project identification numbers are 405575-6/7/8-52-01.

    The public meeting will follow an informal format allowing the public to arrive at any time from 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. FDOT representatives will provide an overview of the project and will be available to answer questions.
