NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Psychology has received the petition for declaratory statement from Giamarie R. Daino, Psy.D., filed on December 23, 2016.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 490.003(4), Chapter 490.009(2)(s), F.S., and paragraph 64B19-17.002(1)(s), F.A.C., as they apply to the petitioner.
The petitioner requests that the Florida Board of Psychology issue a declaratory statement regarding Florida licensed psychologist making recommendations for medical marijuana to physicians, including psychiatrist, as well as other health care professionals, who are credentialed and granted the authority to prescribe medical marijuana. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
