REQUEST FOR BIDS 15-001
Parking Control Upgrades
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the Parking Control Upgrades project at the Gainesville Regional Airport. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of parking cashier booths, metal canopy and parking control equipment throughout the terminal public parking lot.
Complete sets of bid documents will be available for purchase beginning at nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. on December 8, 2014 at the following facilities:

A payment in the amount of eighty dollars ($80.00), to cover the cost of reproduction, will be required.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at ten o’clock (10:00) a.m. on December 16, 2014 at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal Board Room, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32609. A site visit of the project areas will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid conference.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
Bids must be signed by an authorized official, and enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: “Project NO #15-001 – “Parking Control Upgrades” and mailed or delivered to the Authority’s Administrative Office at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida 32609
One original, clearly marked “original” and one copy of the bid are required for submittal. Bids are due at four o’clock (4:00) p.m. on January 15, 2015 and will be publicly opened at this time. The official clock is located in the Authority's Administrative Office. Bids received after this time will not be considered.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate.
GACRAA reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in response to this Request for Bids as determined to be in the best interest of the Airport.
