Notice of Bid

The University of Florida, Purchasing Services will receive sealed bids for the following: ITB13MB-127, Broward Hall Fire Sprinkler Renovation, estimated budget: $425,000.00 to be opened February 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at 971 Elmore Drive, 114A Elmore Hall Small Conference RM, Gainesville FL. Scope of Work: The work includes the materials and labor described in the contract documents for the fire sprinkler work and all associated penetration fire stopping as required for rated locations and specification Section 078413 Penetration Firestopping per bid document. Also included are painting the fire sprinkler line red in the mechanical room and all new exposed gas lines yellow. The Contractor shall establish an allowance of $500 for the cost of painting the gas lines. All bidders will be required to pre-qualify prior to bid submittal. Pre-qualifications forms due February 13th at 5:00 PM. Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held February 12th, 2013 at 1:30, in the Jennings Annex, Museum Road, Gainesville FL. Mandatory site visit to follow. It will be the sole responsibility of the attendees to allow sufficient time to ensure prompt attendance as doors will close at set time.
