    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Elder Affairs is very interested in getting your input as we develop the Florida State Plan on Aging, 2013-2016. The plan will address the needs and well-being of Florida’s 4.5 million elders age 60 and older. As a part of the process, we are hosting two meetings (one in Tallahassee and one in Orlando) and extend an invitation for you to participate. Based on your thoughts, we will prepare the State Plan on Aging, which is the basis for the allocation of funding for elder services throughout Florida.
