NOTICE TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FIRMS OFFICE OF FACILITIES DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION-Request for Qualifications (RFQ)-OFDC-RFQ-005-17. Construction Management at Risk Services. Date of Publication – February 10, 2017. The Office of Facilities Design and Construction announces that Construction Management at Risk Services are required for a project entitled NEW IT DATA CENTER BUILDING AND RENOVATIONS TO EXISTING DATA CENTER AT TEAM CENTER BLDG 3002A / DCSB Project No. TPDC-99780-3002 for Duval County Public Schools. RFQ RESPONSES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE MARCH 14, 2017 AND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 4:30 P.M. Scope of Work: The project is for Construction Management at Risk services for construction of a new IT data center building and renovation of existing IT spaces at Team Center B. The estimated construction budget is "Budgeted Not to Exceed" $3,200,000. The selected Construction Manager’s services will include preconstruction services including value engineering, constructability analysis, development of a cost model, and estimating and development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price at the applicable Construction Document phase. Selection of firms will be made on the basis of construction manager qualifications in accordance with the criteria outlined in the DCPS manual for the Selection of the Construction Manager. The Construction Manager must have previous experience with projects of similar size and scope with emphasis on active campus construction projects.
