    DUVAL COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS-Invitation To Bid for an Electrical Contractor-Publish Date – February 12, 2016. Sealed bids will be received by Duval County Public Schools, Division of Facilities, Room 535, 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207 until the time and date(s) recorded below and immediately thereafter publicly opened and recorded in the Duval County Public Schools, School Board Building, located at 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, 5th Floor, Room 538. BIDS ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE March 1, 2016 AND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 2:00 p.m. OFFICIAL PROJECT TITLE: Replace Main Distribution Switchgear and Removal of Miscellaneous Panels and Components at Arlington Heights Elementary School No. 240/DCSB Project No. M-84310/OFDC-ITB-014-16. SCOPE OF WORK: The project consists of replacement of the main distribution switchgear and removal of miscellaneous panels and components. The estimated construction cost is not to exceed $70,000. All contractors that are interested in bidding are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held February 23 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Arlington Heights Elementary School No. 240, 1520 Sprinkle Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Failure to attend the pre-bid conference shall result in disqualification of that firm’s proposal. Attendees will be required to sign an attendance register. Project funding is subject to availability of funds as authorized by the Owner. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
