FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
City of Largo
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Largo’s project involving improvements to the collection system and the wastewater reclamation facility (WWRF), construction of a wet weather monitoring and pumping system, and replacement of the facility’s disinfection and the effluent/influent pumping systems will not adversely affect the environment. The total estimated project cost is $43,380,000. The project may qualify for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
