NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Steve Nicholosi on November 13, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 44, No. 235, of the December 5, 2018 Florida Administrative Register. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 11, 2019, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. At its meeting, the Board found the provisions of the statute of which the petition sought clarification, is clear and the Board declined to answer the petition. The Board also cited a possible problem with antitrust provisions because the question posed in the petition involves the scope of practice. Due to the aforementioned reasons, the Board denied the petition for declaratory statement. The Order was filed on February 8, 2019.
