UCF Cell Tower

INVITATION TO BID

BID DATE:  March 1, 2019

PROJECT:  UCF Cell Tower

 Wharton-Smith, Inc. is bidding the UCF Cell Tower project and is soliciting prequalified subcontractor bids. A new cell tower will be constructed adjacent the District Energy Plant IV along Gemini Blvd.  It will have five (5) huts and one (1) cell tower which will be provided by selected cell tower company.  One hut will be dedicated to UCF.  The facility will be surrounded by a combination brick faced CMU wall and decorative picket fence with sliding gate.

UCF has introduced a requirement that subcontractors must have a current Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file in order to receive bid documents.   The NDA, once executed, is valid for ten years.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled at 4304 Scorpious Street., Orlando, FL UCF Building DEP on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, 3:00 p.m.

Deadline for Request for Information is February 22, 2019. Email questions to [e-mail] before 4:00 p.m.

Bids will be received at the offices of Wharton-Smith, 750 Monroe Road, Sanford, FL 32711 or maybe emailed to [e-mail] or faxed to [phone] before 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2019.

Payment & Performance Bonds may be required.
